Welcome 2025 Northside Preschool

Hello Northside parents.  My name is James Hannah, and I am beginning my first year at Northside Preschool as a special education teacher in our inclusion program.  I am teamed up with Mrs. Partice Swan and are aiding students with special needs who are placed in a classroom with other VPI students.  I am looking forward to working with all our students and parents in making this a great and productive year.  

A little about me:

I have my undergraduate degree from VCU and am currently working on my graduate degree in early childhood special education from the University of Lynchburg.  I am originally from Richmond, Virginia, and moved here in 2017 to be closer to family.  I am a big football fan, and love my Ohio State Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys.  I am also a big comic book nerd, and have all my old collection that I have been compiling since 10 years old, and it is a collection that is still growing.
